Dolerw Park in Newtown was the centre of cross country competitors from throughout Powys high schools last week.
Newtown High School took part, with some good individual and team results for the school.
“Some fantastic runs were achieved by our pupils and a massive congratulations to all of them for taking part,” said a school spokesperson.
Some of the results included” Neave Wright Cook (2nd), Lucy Sayce (12th) and Ollie Jones (7th) from Year 7; Olivia Robson (5th) from Year 8; Sam Holwill (6th) and Will Lister (8th) from Year 9; Shannon Walker (2nd), Tayla Trigg (4th), Leah Roberts (5th) and Josh Wall (10th) from Year 10 and 11.
In the team events with Year 7 girls came third, Year 7 boys fourth, Junior girls were first, junior boys third, middle girls first and middle boys third overall.
