Transport for Wales has confirmed this morning that trains could be continue to be impact this morning due to a number of animals roaming on the Cambrian Railway Line.
This morning’s trains have been running late, and travellers could continue to face delays until the animals are removed a safe distance from the line.
“Due to animals on the railway between Welshpool and Newtown, trains have to run at reduced speed on all lines. Train services through these stations may be subject to disruption on all routes,” a spokesperson told us at 10am.
Travellers are advised to keep checking journeycheck.com/tfwrail/ before travelling.
These are challenging times for passengers using the Cambrian Line which is still subject to possible delays and changes in the aftermath of the tragic rail crash last week when two trains collided near Talerddig.
