‘Wood’ you believe it?

Residents in Llanfair Caereinion have been asked to keep their hands off the wood in two areas it manages.

The Town Council issued the request after it was brought to their attention that some people were helping themselves to the wood that had fallen in Deri Wood and Goat Field this winter.

But they have been asked to leave it alone by the local authority.

“Please can I ask that no wood is taken from Deri Woods and the Goat Field at any time,” posted the Town Clerk, Robert Robinson on the council’s official web site.

“Wood on the ground is there to help biodiversity and should be left there. Thank you.”
