Ever thought of joining a choir?

Newtown and District Male Voice Choir are offering an opportunity to see what it's like with an open night at the Monty Club tonight (Tuesday).

The event starts at 7.30pm and is open to prospective members.

"If you are interested in joining the choir or would like to find out more about us, please come along and join us for an informal rehearsal where we will be rehearsing songs from our repertoire, with plenty of breaks for a drink and a chat," said a spokesperson for the choir.

"We are always keen to welcome new members, so if you would be interested in joining but are unable to make the open night, feel free to come along to one of our weekly rehearsals at the Pryce Jones building, Newtown, every Tuesday evening at 7.30pm."
