Fire crews from Newtown were among teams called to a major blaze that destroyed an agricultural building near Llanidloes on Monday evening.
Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service said crews from Llanidloes, Newtown, Llandrindod Wells and Aberystwyth were mobilised to the incident at 6.56pm.
Firefighters responded to a fire involving an agricultural building measuring around 10 metres by four metres.
Crews used two main jets, two hose reel jets and specialist equipment to tackle the blaze, while additional support came from a turntable ladder appliance from Aberystwyth and a water bowser from Llandrindod Wells capable of supplying 8,000 litres of water.
The turntable ladder was used to remove slates and roof timbers as firefighters worked to bring the fire under control.
The agricultural building was completely destroyed in the fire.
Firefighters remained at the scene for several hours, with crews leaving at 12.12am on Tuesday morning.
No information has been released about the cause of the fire or whether anyone was injured.
