Aspiring young performers in Newtown are being offered an opportunity to join the prestigious National Youth Theatre of Wales (NYTW).
Auditions for the 2025 intake are set to take place at Hafren on 3rd April, providing a platform for local talent to show off.
The NYTW is searching for individuals aged 16 to 22 who either live or study full-time in Wales, or were born in Wales. Successful applicants will embark on a unique journey of training and development, participating in three residential experiences across Wales between June and November 2025.
The offer invaluable opportunities, including working alongside leading companies and artists from Wales and beyond, with key industry partnerships including Theatr Clwyd and Wales Millennium Centre.
They will also enhance performance skills and confidence through workshops and masterclasses led by vocal coaches, movement directors, directors, writers, casting agents, sound designers, and digital storytellers.
Participants will also contribute to the shaping of NYTW's 2026 Anniversary production, and work and play in a bilingual environment.
The deadline for application bookings is Thursday, 27th March. Interested individuals are encouraged to apply promptly to secure their audition slot at Y Hafren.
