Bus routes consultation ends soon

Powys County Council is undertaking a consultation into routes used by residents in the area and journeys they go on.

Newtown Town Council was recently asked to provide its opinion on services as part of the consultation which will help inform new contracts in 2025.

The town council suggested the reinstatement of a service from the town's railway station to the town centre, as well as one to and from the hospital.
