Could Newtown get a trampoline park or zip wire?

Work could soon begin on a project to identify new attractions and activities for teenagers in Newtown.

Consideration is likely to be given to ideas including a zipline, trampoline park, water park, and climbing walls.

Town councillors will consider moving a project forward and identifying a priority list at a meeting on Thursday.

The Strategy and Corporate Projects Committee will receive a verbal update from lead councillors, Peter Lewington and Tracy Owen on the matter.

The attractions were set out in the Newtown Place Plan which was adopted after public consultation several years ago. It set out priorities for the town's future.
