Trader interest in Newtown's street market is increasing

Interest from traders attending Newtown's Tuesday Charter Market has increased.

Town councillors on the Services Committee have been told enquiries had risedn. It followed concern in recent months about the number of traders at the street market.

Last month the town council agreed to allow some changes to charges when weather or other issues affected the market and to help attract more market traders.

The town council manages the street market on behalf of Powys County Council.
