An urgent call has gone out for blood donors

The Welsh Blood Service has appealed for donors to come forward to blood donations sessions in Newtown and Llanidloes next week.

The service says it needs more blood reserved to ensure hospitals in Wales have enought for the summer holidays.

Sessions are being held in Newtown on 12 and 13 July and Llanidloes on 11 July. Further sessions is being held at Welshpool on 18 July and 28 August.
