Town's rebrand to be revealed in April

A rebrand of Newtown to help attract more business investment and tourists will be revealed in April.

The rebranding work has been ongoing for several years on behalf of Newtown Town Council to market the town more widely outside the region.

Next week, town councillors will be told the brand will be launched on 10 April, before the Celebration of Newtown Awards, which are also organised by the council.

A pop-up space will be created in the town centre for people to view the work and final branding that will be used to market the town to businesses, visitors, and residents.

A report to the town council's Economy and Environment Committee will be considered at its meeting on Monday, 6 January.
