Kicking Off Christmas success

Hundreds of people descended on Newtown for the annual Kicking off Christmas event.

The day included events and activities in High Street throughout the day, including a Santa Run and walk which started in the town centre.

Organised by the town council, the event continued into the night with the lights switch and included an appearance by Father Christmas.
