Hundreds pay tribute on Remembrance Day

Hundreds of people turned out for yesterday's Remembrance Day parade and ceremony in Newtown.

The mayor, town and county councillors, and Montgomeryshire MP, Craig Williams, lead the procession to the memorial, along with other indivuduals and representatives of local organisations.

The streets were lined as the parade headed to the memorial gardens on New Road before the service and two minutes silence.
