A Kindness at Christmas event will be held this month

A Kindness at Christmas event will take place in Newtown's Town Hall grounds later this month.
"This year I have already been going out for donations and I've had quite a bit," she said.
"It will be for everyone to enjoy," she added.
Cllr Joy Jones told Newtown town councillors last night (Monday) that the event would provide a mix of free hot and cold food, sweets, entertainment and more.
It follows a similar event held earlier this year with local businesses, organisations and others involved."This year I have already been going out for donations and I've had quite a bit," she said.
"It will be for everyone to enjoy," she added.
Cllr Jones added that Father Christmas would also be visiting the event.
The event will take place on 16 December at the Town Hall Grounds between 11am and 2pm.
