The tier two villagers beat struggling Llanfechain 10-0 in the Robins (Newtown F.C.) League Cup, round one with some splendid goals thrown into the mix.
Meanwhile, Llansantffraid Village took advantage of their rivals being otherwise engaged with a 6-1 win over Maesyrhandir to move four points clear.
In the Welshpool derby at the other end of the table, Waterloo Colts edged Welshpool Reserves 2-1, while Llangedwyn crushed Kerry Reserves 5-1.
In the Honda Division One, Luke Francis bagged a hat-trick to help Guilsfield Reserves overcome Llanrhaeadr Reserves 6-2.
In the Emrys Morgan Cup, there were home defeats for Waterloo Reserves and Caersws Reserves.
