Running course for beginners

Ladies who are thinking about running to improve their health are invited to join the 16th beginners course organised by Maldwyn Harriers, starting tonight (Thursday).

Following 15 very successful courses when hundreds of ladies have taken up running for fun, the club is inviting more beginners down to give it a go.

The group will commence with walking and gentle jogging to improve health and fitness. Everyone will be supported to go at their own pace.

It is a 10-week course starting tonight from 6-7pm and it will culminate with a celebration three mile event on the 10th week of June 18.

Those interested are invited to meet at Maldwyn Leisure Centre.

It is £2 per session and suitable clothing and foot wear must be worn.

The group will be lead by volunteers who are qualified and licensed UK Athletics Running Fitness Coaches.
