Age is no barrier for Brian

Veteran golfer Brian Arthur (10) showed that senior players can compete across the club by picking up the JT Hughes April Medal.

His impressive three under par 67 was good enough for a three shot win over in-form Martin Stephens (10) recent winner of the Infirmary Cup. In third place, losing on the count-back, was Jonathan Breeze (11) with a level 70. 

This Saturday the club plays its opening fixture in the Monty League when they travel to Llanidloes for a match with near rivals St Idloes.
