Lakeside captains drive-in

On a weekend blessed with glorious weather Lakeside held its annual Captains drive in with new club captain John Taylor driving into office, alongside new  Ladies captain Jo Lawson and senior captain John Rix.
On the day the net drive-in was won by Joe Haycock with 39 points, with Lee Griffin in second ,only being separated from Jeff Down on the countback with both on 38 points.
The final weekly winter league result was John Rix in first with 18 points from Jane Rix in second on17, and Vojka Turner in third on 15.
The final overall winter leagues results were: Net league, Andrew Lewis 1st, John Rix 2nd and George Davies 3rd, and the gross league: Joe Davies was 1st  with George Davies in 2nd and Kevin Lloyd in 3rd.
