Craig retains darts title

Craig Davies retained the Newtown Darts Premier League pairs title with work colleague Gareth Ashley.

Davies, who won the title in 2015 with Nathan Dobson made it a second victory this year with Gareth Ashley
Ashley and Davies who work together at Technocover in Welshpool showed that they knew each other not only on the work front but also on the dart board by sauntering to a 4-0 final victory over Presteigne pair Sean Barnett and Steve Duggan.

Barnett will be hoping to take the premier league title on October 15 at the Monty Club where his qualifying game will be against Gareth in what promises to be an enthralling encounter in front of a packed venue.
