Caersws and Llanfair relegated?

Llanfair and Caersws have both finished the season in the Huws Gray Alliance League relegation places.

Now only clubs promoted from the three feeder leagues failing to achieve the necessary ground criteria can save the Mid Wales pair from relegation back to the Spar Mid Wales League.

And there's already a glimmer of hope for third-from-bottom Caersws with promotion hopefuls Llangefni struggling to finish in the top two places in the Welsh League (North) and no other club ready for promotion.

Llanfair's hopes of an escape faded with a 2-1 defeat at Flint today while Caersws already had little hope of anything from their final game against title favourites Caernarfon next Saturday. The Cofis beat Cefn Druids 7-0 today.
