A new housing development scheme has been launched in Trefeglwys, bringing 17 new quality homes to the village to cater for demand locally.
The 17 new homes are being developed by a local builder and have been designed in keeping with the local area, according to estate agents Morris, Marshall and Poole who are marketing the scheme.
Plas Trannon will be situated off the B4569, close to the village centre and the amenities that include the local primary school, village hall and village pub.
“Plas Trannon has been designed to a high standard and very much in keeping with the local community. It offers a range of homes from two to four bedrooms to suit those looking to get on to the housing ladder to those looking to upsize or even downsize,” said Paul Evans, a partner at MMP.
“The development is close to Llanidloes and Newtown, making it ideal for those wanting to live and work locally, with the addition of good road and rail links – via Caersws Railway Station - to other parts of the area and wider region,” he added.
The developer is Colin Powell and his family who run Powell Developments (Trefeglwys) Ltd. They have developed other quality homes in the area as well as running the successful and award-winning Luxury Lodges Wales holiday park close to Trefeglwys.
“The homes have been designed to a high quality and will be built with Ibstock brick exterior, cast stone detailing for all the homes, all under a slated roof,” said Mr Powell.
“We’ve ensured that they are in keeping with the local area and elements such as the stone cills, the quality and size of the interior finishes and other exterior features make them an attractive opportunity for people to live locally in the community.”
The properties range from £129,000 from the two-bedroom Towey, to £140,000 for the three-bedroom Conwy end terrace; £145,000 for the semi-detached Conwy; and £249,950 for the four-bedroom Vyrnwy, with 2 plots already sold.
Serviced building plots are also available.
Each property includes a 10 year NHBC Builders Warranty, oil fired central heating, choice of quality kitchens, including oven, extractor hood and hob, ground floor cloakroom and toilet, smoke and heat detectors and contemporary panelled doors and fittings.
“We’ve already had interest in the homes, with two of the properties already bought off plan. But we’re keen to talk to potential home owners about this 17 home development in what is a lovely community in the heart of the Montgomeryshire countryside.”
