The Community Fund grant is open to local groups and organisations which:

• Are set-up for social and charitable purposes rather than pursuit of profit (and which reinvest surpluses in their community activities).
• Which operate and deliver activities within the boundaries of the Newtown & Llanllwchaiarn Town Council area.
• Are open to all and allow anyone to join, unless there is a good reason why this is not suitable. From time to time, the Town Council may identify specific Priority Themes that will take precedence in funding allocation. These themes will be detailed in the application form and publicised accordingly.
