A new development of housing association homes will soon be available in Llanidloes.

Mid Wales Housing Association has unveiled the first phase of 31 homes in the town being developed at Dolhafren.

Over 100 local residents have already looked over the properties during an open day.

The development will deliver a total of 31 new homes which are being developed in two phases.

Phase one, which has recently been completed, comprises 25 homes with a mix of property types ranging from one- to four-bedroom houses, two-bedroom bungalows and one-bedroom flats.  Phase two will consist of six homes of two- and four-bedroom houses.

Nick Scott, CEO of Pickstock Partnerships, commented: “Pickstock Partnerships has been delighted to work alongside Mid-Wales Housing Association to assist in the delivery of this important housing scheme.”

Mrs Sian Howells, Director of New Business of Mid-Wales Housing, said: “We are delighted to facilitate the development in Llanidloes.

“The properties are highly energy efficient and have dual zone heating systems which will make them affordable to heat for our tenants.

“The homes have been allocated to applicants in housing need who live, work or offer some form of voluntary commitment to the area."
