Encouraging more walkers into Newtown

A new notice board is to be erected in Newtown town centre to encourage more people to walk around the community.

The town council and Walking Newtown group are attempting to make the town a walking destination, attracting walkers into and around the town, using rights of ways and paths.

The notice board will include information about the Walking Newtown scheme and details of some local walks.
