£90 stolen from wallet in Newtown town centre

A wallet accidentally left on a bench close to the Newtown Town Council offices at The Cross in Broad Street has had £90 stolen from it.

Police said the wallet was left unattended when the money was taken, leaving the wallet behind.

The incident happened between 1pm and 1.20pm on 13 June.
