Pony charity to benefit from events

24/04/2017 @ 10:03

A local pony rehoming charity is to benefit from some equine events taking place next month.

Totem Hopes, a not-for-profit charity that takes in neglected and unwanted ponies and finds home for them, will benefit from a raffle taking place at events to encourage  novice, experienced and non-riders into horse riding.

The events will take place at Argoed at Trefeglwys on 1 May and 21 May and will include pole, grid and gymkhana on 1 May, while on the 21 May there will be a learn to play polo event.

Robbyn-Jane Wilmot said she was starting the courses after seeing a gap in the market and wanted to raise money for the Totem Horses charity as part of it.

A raffle will be held at the event to raise funds for the Llanfechain based charity.

Details can be obtained from Robbyn-Jane by emailing robbynwilmot@rocketmail.com.
