17-year-old charged with firearms offence

A 17-year-old male has been charged with robbery, blackmail and a firearms offence following an incident in Llanidloes.

The man, who will appear before magistrates in Llandrindod Wells, was charged after an incident at a property in High Street, Llanidloes on Tuesday when another man was taken to hospital.

Police have appealed for anyone who might have witnessed anything in the area in the early hours of Tuesday morning to contact them by telephoning 101.
