Thieves break into store at Ladywell Shopping Centre

Thieves have forced their way into the Ladywell Shopping Centre in Newtown, breaking into the IC Meats store.

Police said the burglary happened sometime between 5.30pm on Friday night and 6.20am on Saturday.

“Thieves damaged a padlock to one of the main gate entrances to the centre and used force to enter the IC Meat store,” said a police spokesperson.

“Relating to this crime was also an incident of criminal damage caused to the IC Meats company vehicle in the same timeframe supplied above.”
