SALES / MARKETING ENGINEER

Quality Pipe Supports Ltd design and manufacture a wide range of Pipe Support Systems to clients that operate within the Power Generation, Petrochemical, Nuclear, Offshore, Water, Oil, Gas, Process and allied industries.

We are looking to recruit a business development / marketing engineer to work in the Pipe Support Industry with engineering experience to provide technical support to the sales and production team, as well as our clients.

This role will involve working within a Sales team, visiting our current and potential clients on a regular basis and candidates should be comfortable working with customers at all levels.

Candidates must be willing to travel throughout the UK and Ireland. The candidate will spend most of their time on the road, meeting new and existing clients, but will be required to work from the office at times.

Technical Engineer

We are looking to recruit a Technical Engineer to work in the Pipe Support industry with engineering experience to provide technical support both to the sales and production team, as well as our clients.

This role will involve working within a Sales team and liaising with our current and potential clients. 

Typical Work Activities

- Estimating and preparation of quotes

- Raising and issuing works orders

- Control and issue of drawings

- Breaking down drawings into individual items

The successful applicant will have experience in engineering and have an understanding of  mechanical concepts. The successful candidate will also be knowledgeable in both modern and traditional manufacturing methods.

Engineering Apprentice

Quality Pipe Supports (QPS) Ltd are specialist designers and manufacturers of Pipe Supports, Spring Hangers, and Steelwork Fabrications for the Oil and Gas, Petrochemical, Power Generation, Process

We are currently looking to employ a Engineering Apprentice to ensure that our procedures and processes are maintained and developed to suit our ever increasing client portfolio.

 Undertake any work as required on the floor shop

 Help out in the spray shop

 Need to be interested in engineering

 Have an interest in attending college to further current qualifications (desirable)

The role will be 37 hours per week.
