Excellence award for Arthurs

A Vauxhall Customer Excellence Award has been presented by the manufacturer to award-winning dealer Arthurs of Newtown.

This award is given to the top 25 Vauxhall dealers in the country and is based on independent survey results from sales and service customers over the last 12 months.

The presentation was made in the Arthurs Vauxhall showroom by Mr. Rob Assinder, Director of Pensions at Vauxhall Motors Ltd to Steve Hughes,m Arthurs Group Operations Director.

Said Mr. Assinder: “I am delighted once again to present this excellence award to Arthurs Vauxhall. This is the third time Arthurs has achieved this particular award and is testament to the whole team which maintains such an outstanding record.

“Vauxhall recognise the contribution which has been made by Arthurs to the Vauxhall franchise over many years. Arthurs is highly regarded by the directors of Vauxhall Motors, not only for their customer satisfaction levels, but also for the conduct in which they run their business as well as for the excellent new car market share they have in their franchise territory.

“Nationally,” added Mr. Assinder, “Vauxhall is second in new car sales, but in the Oswestry and Newtown area Vauxhall is in a commanding first position.”

Steve Hughes described how pleased he was to receive the award on behalf of the two dealerships.

“The award is recognition of the tremendous effort put in by the Arthurs team to deliver an outstanding customer service at all times.

“We have internal measurements in place to monitor the level of customer care given to customers in both sales and service departments on a daily basis.

“However, Vauxhall use an independent company to manage and measure the customer satisfaction of all its 320 dealers in order to have complete impartiality and credibility within the scoring system.

“This award was achieved through the team’s efforts over 12 months which shows the consistent focus of customer care given by all of us at Arthurs.”
