Design competition launched

A competition has been launched by a Newtown-based car dealership who are inviting members of the public to draw, paint, photoshop or airbursh a design which will then be used on an actual car bonnet.

W.R. Davies said the competition is open to all, and the winning two designs will be brought to life live at the firm’s Newtown showroom by two professional artists on February 7.

“We need the public’s input!” said a company spokesperson. “Two Fiesta bonnets will be airbrushed live in the showroom but we need some designs.”

Participants are invited to enter their designs on the pictured bonnet for a chance to win. W.R. Davies will pick six favourite designs, and then these will be put to public vote to choose the two most popular, which will then be used. More than one entry per person is encouraged.
