Administrative Assistant
About Pyjama Drama
Pyjama Drama is a drama and imaginative play programme for children up to seven years which is delivered in nurseries, schools, in ‘public’ sessions and at children’s parties.

Headed up by Sarah Owen and Rachel McKenna, our franchised business started, and has its Head Office in Welshpool, Powys. We support and manage over 30 franchisees who each run their own Pyjama Drama business teaching our programme, and have recently launched in Malaysia, California and Australia. We urgently require an administrative assistant to work in the Welshpool office and support us in our future growth.

The role
The role requires excellent organisation skills and the capability to remotely support our franchisees day-t0-day; from processing orders to organising meetings and ensuring their email/Facebook pages work correctly. We have a number of outside agencies that support our business (such as IT support), so we are not looking for someone who is expert in all areas; rather someone who has a good understanding of technology, is a quick learner, and is able to problem solve. The role requires regular communication with our franchisees and potential customers, so the person we are looking for must have excellent interpersonal skills and employ a positive ‘can do’ attitude at all times. They should be confident in communicating effectively across different platforms – telephone, SKYPE, video conferencing, as well as in person.

What we can offer

Our business is at exciting stage in its development as we are expanding rapidly both in the UK and internationally. We offer the opportunity to work in a small and friendly team in our Head Office in Welshpool, with the potential of further professional development as our business grows. The directors are both working parents who promote a flexible and family friendly working culture – we don’t believe that working parents, grandparents or carers should ever have to miss a sport’s day, school play or assembly.
